no, i’m pretty sure it will use the same kind of TV you have now. If you can use other nintendo game consoles like gamecube, you will be fine.
Check out the message boards at gamefaqs.com. There are grumblings about no HD support, so people are worried the Wii video games won’t look as good on their Hi Def TVs.
