my hubby is fabulous. he even helps with the little people, but he is addicted to Everquest…i wish i could break his computer! but then he would want to put that s*** on mine. He has always been a bit of a “vidiot”, but this game is insidious! every ounce of free time he has…poof!i finally got him to go camping with us last week. He used to always bug me to go hiking, or play folf or camp…even was pro-ski patrol for six years. ACTIVE! An active vidiot, but now this game…he even has conversations with me about weapons and spells and stuff, and i love to talk to my hubby! NOT ABOUT EVERCRACK! it takes so much of his time, and we actually plan family activities around “raids”…why does he think that i want to hear about that stupid-game in day to day conversation? am i the only one out there who would love to see every copy of EQ spotaineously combust? please tell me i’m not alone! may not be this game, but is it something else? i’ll listen to you vent. you will feel better. I do
we have talked about it, and fought , and laughed, and yelled, i have said it every way i know how. he knows it is an issue, i think he knows how BIG an issue, it is certainly not for lack of trying. but it is what he does when the kids are busy, or in bed, or he has nothing to do…we all have an addiction…shopping, booze, drugs, computer, pills, work, play, tv, sports, and i am glad that he is not stopping at the bar on the way home or rooted to the couch all weekedn to “watch the game” … i hate e-crap!
but wht i wouldnt do for those to just go away. or break the comp. OUT!!! love him so much, we have been married 6 years, together 10, have two amazing little people…he is my best friend and the one i will always be with…but this game is insidious! Why are these things so addictive?

I own it, I love it, everything blows up, and you get to shoot some really fun weapons. It does have its downfalls: no multi-player (that will come in “Black 2″, and the story is a little uninvolved with a cliffhanger ending (setting up a sequel). But it is still a great game.
What are your thoughts?

I have played through this game many times and still have it. I love it, the graphics,music,weapons,armor,characters- all of it. Have not found a game as to date that compares. Is there ANY other game out there (ps2 or xbox) that is even remotely the same? I have tired dozens, nothing compares!
