I need a recipe for a tick repellent spray for dogs. I prefer natural products. I’ve been using Advantix on my dogs, and they still have ticks. We have the yard sprayed every month and still have ticks. I spend so much time going through their fur and checking their ears and toes, and they still have ticks. I shampoo them with a good flea and tick shampoo. These horrible parasites are so hard to get rid of and we have a long tick season here in Florida. Please, please something that works… Thanks in advance.

Our dog is on Sentinel which is a monthly oral flea “repellent” and heartworm preventative. What can safely be used as a topical tick repellent that won’t interfere with her oral medication? She loves to go to the park and we love to take her but the ticks are just horrendous there.

My sister is just under 5 months pregnant and needs to use flea/ tick repellent on her dog. She knows that she needs to avoid exposure/ contact with FrontLine to avoid birth defects, but does anyone know of a product she can use on her dog that won’t cause problems for her and her unborn child?

(Please note: Of course, she will ultimately check the safety of any recommended product with her OB/GYN, but I was just wondering whether somebody could point us in the right direction.)

dog repellent that keeps dogs away, not that keeps insects away from dogs.preferably not too strong smelling since i want 2 use it inside as well as outside.also i dont want any recipes with mothballs; these could hurt the dog.

These devices supposedly drive away pests (ants, spiders, mice, rats) with an ultrasonic noise that humans cannot hear. Also, will it bother a dog?
