Hello, please could some one help just want to know if there is some sort of insect repellent that you can plug into mains or something to keep insects such as spiders ect away? because i live in a log cabin at the bottom of the garden and get the odd spider any help would be good. thanks in advanced.

We have found that mothballs in an old margerine container with holes in top helps keep all kinds on insects/rodents etc away. punch a few holes in top or sides(if moisture can get in) and place containers around areas where problem is.
CAUTION: ENSURE NO SMALL CHILDREN/PETS can get to it.
about one small hand full of moth balls(NOT CRYSTALS) should protect you for about 4-6 months depending on how fast they disappear. It's the smell they don't like.
