Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight Gameplay Trailer

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight Gameplay Trailer Developer: EA Release: 3/16/2010 Genre: RTS Platform: PC Publisher: EA Website: www.commandandconquer.com/ In the year 2062, humanity found itself on the brink of extinction. Tiberium, the mysterious, alien crystalline structure that infested Earth for decades and caused years of relentless conflict between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod, was close to rendering the planet uninhabitable. In the midst of this crisis, Kane, Nod’s prophetic leader, emerged from seclusion to deliver GDI the message that he had developed a system that could control Tiberium and harness its power. But he could not build this “Tiberium Control Network” without GDI’s cooperation. Thus, the two opposing factions—GDI and Nod—found themselves in a desperate and unlikely alliance to stop Tiberium from extinguishing mankind. There is infantry, in the Defense MCV.

But even then the infantry are more like robocops than regular infantry.

Me and my cousins were really into the C&C games. Where did it all go wrong?

    No buildings.
    You have to earn exp?
    Where’s the Tiberium?
Population control? Humanity on the verge of extinction?
    I want my Mammoth Tank!!!
My cousins are holding a funeral for an EPIC FAILED game.
Kane, why did you leave? On a portal and not on a jetplane?
EA, we are totally pissed off with you’re childish game.
Does C&C 4 come with a value meal?
    Please don’t fuck Generals, okay?

To all C&C fans, weep with me.

I’ve gotta say, when i first saw red alert 2 on a friend’s laptop, I fell in love. The game was awesome, nuff said. Then I saw generals and fell in love again. An abrams tank shooting at something was classic. What i really liked about this series was the absence of a unit cap. Now I look at this and say to myself “WTF?” This, in my opinion, looks nothing like the command and conquer I love. It just looks like a future RTS with the command and conquer label on it!

Yeah, DOWN WITH THESE FANBOYS. You know there are still westwood members at ea also all the other members gone to Petroglyph and their games a really not that great. Okay I liked Empire at War but thats it. And also none of their RTS Games include seriously base building. So for the Westwood Fans out there, do you really think they will bring the old school base building back when THEY would make another C&C do you really think they would make cutscenes WITH REAL ACTORS?

I just played it today and I gotta say im extremely disappointed… Outside the three starting tutorial missions that showcases the Offense/Defence/Support Crawler gameplay, the campaigns only 7 damn levels long.

The game would probably be more respected if it didn’t have a damn Command and Conquer title. It’s just too drastically different. The Crawler gameplay is acually pretty original and fun but thats not what i wanted from a game that played like the RTS in the first three games…

Did i mention i finished the GDI campaign in about…4 hours? I have yet to play out the Nod campaign but I sorta lost interest already.

Not only was it short but the plot flows so badly and disjointed it was like a separate story in each level. …just 7 freakin levels… (+the 3 tutorials)

Yup, way to rush this EA, and i thought Bio-Shock 2 was rushed… this is just icing on the cake. Only thing that’s good about this game is a decent Crawler gameplay system, the rest just sucks balls.

Also, the unit cap is shyt. 50 unit cap (60 later) is just horrible, especially when you got tanks that cost 6+ food, yup… i can go on with the amount of flaws this game has.

So settle the debate. Is it TiberIUM or TiberIAN? Most of the game titles went with TiberIAN, except for C&C3: TiberIUM Wars. Me? I think Tiberium sounds closer to other elements and minerals. 71 out of 109 of the elements on the periodic table end in “IUM”. None end in “IAN”. IAN to me sounds like a suffix to a race of people, or nationality like Acadian, Norwegian, Canadian. Or in fictional Alien species like Tholian, Andorian, Bolian, just from Star Trek.
